The myth about “having it all”

The thing about “finding balance”?

It’s not a one-and-done task.

It shifts depending on your goals and the season you’re in.

When you’re working towards a promotion, starting a family, training for a marathon, or going back to school, your focus WILL shift.

And that’s a good thing. It means you’re prioritizing goals!

BUT… that doesn’t mean you can’t take action to keep your life on an even keel.

So in the spirit of January being all about finding your balance, I want to share 3 key strategies to help you find your sweet spot:

  • Health first. A fit body fuels your life’s demands, battles stress, and keeps you upbeat. Get healthy, and everything else gets clearer and easier.
  • Build routines, not to-do lists. Let daily habits streamline your path to your goals. Think morning workouts or pre-packed lunches.
  • Ask for help. Delegate. Trade favors. Teamwork isn’t just for the office!

And finally… don’t sweat the small stuff. Find what fits you and your goals — and make sure to schedule in some “you time.”
